KAIM Footwear was built on a single belief — that a shoe made with patient hands and honest materials will always outlast and outperform a shoe turned out by a machine chasing a daily quota. That belief has not changed since 2007. Everything else has grown around it.
Agra is not just famous for the Taj Mahal. For over a century, it has been the beating heart of India's leather industry — home to generations of artisans, tanneries, and workshop traditions passed down through families, not textbooks.
Mr. Suresh Kumar began handcrafting footwear in this city in 2007. He did not start with a business plan or an investor. He started with a workbench, a set of hand tools, and the craft knowledge he had spent years accumulating on the workshop floors of Agra.
That origin matters. It means every KAIM shoe carries the vocabulary of a city that has spoken leather for generations — the way a last is shaped, the way a sole is bonded, the way a leather upper is finished by hand before it is ever boxed.
In 2017, Mr. Sushil Kumar took over as CEO and asked a harder question: how do you scale a craft without cheapening it? The answer he built was not a factory floor. It was a structured workshop — where every production step still passes through a skilled craftsman, but the systems around it are fast, transparent and reliable enough for brands to build on.
Today KAIM produces 2,000+ pairs per month across multiple product lines. Brands trust us for private-label production, sample development, bulk orders and government tenders — not because we are the cheapest option, but because we deliver the same quality on the 500th pair that we delivered on the first.

Crafting since 2007
Suresh Kumar built KAIM from a single workshop bench in Agra in 2007. With decades of hands-on experience in leather cutting, lasting and finishing, he is the reason every pair that leaves the workshop meets the standard it was made to meet. His philosophy is simple: do it right the first time, or do it again.

Leading since 2017
Sushil Kumar took over in 2017 and made one decisive call: preserve the craft, modernise everything around it. Under his leadership, KAIM formalised its processes, invested in better equipment, expanded the product range, and built the systems that allow brands to rely on KAIM for repeat-order consistency at scale.
We do not run automated production lines. Every pair passes through skilled hands at every stage — because a human eye catches what a machine misses.
Agra has been India's leather capital for generations. We carry that legacy into every order, whether it ships across the city or across an ocean.
Our clients are brand owners, buyers and entrepreneurs. We invest in understanding their product, not just processing their order.
Same materials, same process, same finish — whether it is a 100-pair sample run or a 5,000-pair bulk order. Consistency is the only promise that matters.
Whether you need a single sample pair to test a design, or a 5,000-pair bulk order under your brand — we manufacture both with the same care. Let's talk.
